Conceptual note About Canopy Scan

The Canopy Scan uses competence-level can-do statements developed by EntreComp Orchard and informed by the EntreComp progression model. They are designed to help you make a structured, best-fit judgement about your current experience across the 15 competences. The resulting profile provides a high-level orientation rather than a definitive or detailed measurement.

Methodology and research status For researchers and readers who want more detail

These statements are Orchard-adapted competence-level assessment anchors, not official EntreComp learning outcomes. They have been constructed to reflect the framework's progression dimensions and to support self-assessment, but they have not yet been independently psychometrically validated as an eight-level measurement scale.

Results should therefore be interpreted as indicative self-positioning; detailed thread-level evidence is available through the Branch Assessment.
